in 1920 when Gibert Family started elaborating cava wines,
following the classical method "champenoise". In 1920 our
wine-cellars were enlarged and improved to be adapted for that change.
Since then, Caves Gibert has dedicated itself exclusively to the elaboration of genuine cava wines. Their well-known has kept their prestige in the wine market.
Thanks to its great quality, Cava Gibert was awarded with Gold Medal and Diploma in the International Exposition held in Barcelona in 1929.
